April
April is such a beautiful month. The saying “April showers bring May flowers” never gives April the justice it deserves.
April is dewy and bright. It’s like the earth is being born again. Flowers start to bloom, trees come alive, grass turns green, it’s a wonderful sight to see.
I’m from Colorado, I am spoiled and have witnessed all 4 seasons each year. Then I moved to AZ. It felt like the months felt the same. Was it Christmas or was it July 4th? I don’t know. My first year moving back home to Colorado, I found a new love from April and for spring. I never recovered Colorado being so green during this time. The colors of flowers blooming. I was amazed.
I soon came to realize, it’s always been like this in Colorado. It’s always this green. I was in AZ for so long I had forgotten.
This shifted my mindset, you only see what you want to see. I’ve slowly started to open my eyes and my mind and beautiful things have come along the way.
